They've Lost Control

Industry heads are already buzzing about the massive Joy Division remix from The Lady Foursquare and collaborator Angel Alanis. Jocks across the globe are snapping up an early digital preview of the first project out of the as yet unnamed studio shared by the two and former Yoshitoshi/Deep Dish label manager, Chuck Bleu. The flip is a devastating rework of the New Order classic Blue Monday, though the finished product little resembles its parentage. Paired, this release is primed for the October release of “Control,” Anton Corbijn’s bipic about the life of Ian Curtis, which will surely invigorate interest in the Factory Records sound. Keep your ear to the ground on this one!
