So who is Mr. A.L.I.?

• Jere McAllister has been a force in dance music for 20 years as a producer and musician, with credits including remix work for Michael Jackson's "Remember the Time" and "You Want This" for Janet Jackson. He co-wrote CeCe Peniston's worldwide smash ,"We got a Love Thang" and wrote "Let the Music Use You" for Frankie Knuckles, one of the most important records during "The Summer of Love" in the UK (the period widely considered to be the start of the modern rave movement). Jere has also collaborated with Grammy nominated producers Steve "Silk" Hurley, E-Smoove and Grammy winner Maurice Joshua.

• Lead vocalist Carla Prather anchors the group with one of the most compelling voices in house music. In addition to her singing and songwriting with Mr. A.L.I., Carla has recently backed Common at Park West in Chicago, performing alongside Amel Larrieux, Miri Ben Ari and Doug E. Fresh.

• Guest lead vocalist Dajae is no stranger to dance fans. With five Top 10 Billboard Hits her belt: "Brighter Days," "Lift me Up," "You got me Up," "All Over my Face," and of course her classic number one single, "Day by Day," Dajae epitomizes “house diva.”

• Vick Lavender, a DJ for 20 years, co-writes all of Mr. A.L.I.'s original production and is widely recognized for his work with the influential deep house label Nite Life Collective alongside fellow Strictly Jazz Unit members Glenn Underground and Boo Williams.

Mr. A.L.I.’s followers packed two years of Saturdays at Forte, presented by Dust Traxx Chicago. Word of the Forte night spread the Mr. A.L.I. legend in magazines all across America and in Europe. Today their ever constant fanbase stretches across the music spectrum from house-heads, to jazz enthusiasts and neo-soul newbies.
